Nancy Cormier

Current councilor for District 4
and candidate in the 2025 election

Nancy Cormier is running for a second term in the 2025 municipal elections, representing District 4 – De l’Ancienne Gare.


With over 30 years of experience in communications, Ms. Cormier has held key positions, including Chief of Information Services and Internal Communications Manager at the Canadian Space Agency, Senior Strategic Communications Advisor at Shared Services Canada, and Director of Strategic Communications in the office of the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney, former Prime Minister of Canada.

Elected as a municipal councillor in 2021, Ms. Cormier is currently responsible for economic development, sports, the solidarity table, and social housing on the municipal council. She is also Vice-President of the Housing and Social Housing Commission for the Longueuil agglomeration, a delegate for the Régie intermunicipale d’assainissement des eaux usées, and an active member of the agricultural committee of the Montreal Metropolitan Community.


Concrete achievements for District 4:

  • Permanent protection of Boisé des Tilleuls
  • Upgrading of playground equipment at Quincy-sous-Sénart Park
  • Completion of the Le Paillasson social housing project after years of deadlock
  • Economic development: welcoming renowned businesses to the industrial parks

  • Construction of new tennis courts at Bisaillon Park
  • Installation of the polydome and new pickleball courts at Marie-Victorin Park

  • Upcoming renovation of the football field and running track
