Hélène Ringuet

Current councilor for District 6
and candidate in the 2025 election

Hélène Ringuet is running for a second term in the 2025 municipal elections, representing District 6 – De la Montagne.


A resident of Saint-Bruno for 30 years, Hélène Ringuet is a retired member of the Ordre des agronomes du Québec and holds a master’s degree in bio-agronomy. She has distinguished herself as a communications, marketing, and commercialization manager, with over 14 years of experience in senior executive positions. Deeply committed to her community, Ms. Ringuet strongly believes in volunteerism.


She has been actively involved with Paroisse Saint-Bruno (lobster dinner, holiday food drive, Christmas basket distribution), the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the annual revue of the city's Figure Skating Club for several years.

Elected as a municipal councillor in 2021, Ms. Ringuet is responsible for environment, climate change, and arts, culture, and heritage on the municipal council. She also serves on the SEPAQ Harmonization Table and is a member of the regional partners' committee on the management of white-tailed deer in urban and peri-urban areas.


Projects and initiatives under her leadership:

  • Protection of multiple woodlands
  • Development of a climate action plan
  • Strengthened pesticide regulations to protect public health
  • Expansion of organic waste collection
  • Continuation of the Lac du Village conservation plan
  • Creation of an Arts, Culture, and Heritage Action Plan
  • Acquisition of part of the Georges Brossard collection
  • Consultation on the complete revitalization of Parc des Pins
  • Preservation of the city’s five horticultural fleurons
  • Enhancement of urban furniture in parks
  • Support for community gardens
  • Improvements to the municipal library (acoustic booth, 5-star award)
  • Implementation of a grant program for tree purchases
